Oh my, what a sight, no? We get a pair of eagles every winter. Can always tell when the weather is going south because they disappear to the river. They'll have their hatchling in the one big tree in the hay field in the spring. The red tails will use the nest after the eagles move on.

Hope it warms up soon for you. Be careful out there! And stay warm.

There is a arm/cove along the Mississippi about halfway between Hannibal Missouri and Sr. Louis near a little town called Louisiana where hwy 54 crosses the river. There are literally thousands of Bald eagles there in the Winter hanging out on the ice and flying around. Thousands.

I see eagles here every now and then. They like to hang out down along the MN River, but never that many at one time. Stay warm!

I had an eagle fly over my car, I thought I was going to hit him as he had been on the road. Talk about soiled boxers. I was actually shaken up about it.
