Update...How Bad Was It????

This was taken today, one week after my daughter fell at school. this is her left elbow, on the inside of her arm. She has seen the Orthopedic Dr twice. He took the plaster cast/ splint off. She how wears a brace so she can bend it slowly. Its still swollen. Next week she goes and see's the Dr again the same day she goes back to school. He said he should x ray it again to see if there are any cracks or breakes in any of the bones.

Sammy saw the Dr yesterday for a check up and that little boy is up to 32 lbs, and 3 feet tall. he growing as fast as the corn around here. Speaking of corn crop, its starting to dry out which means harvest is not that far off. The soy is the same. Hard to believe that it's almost Sept 1st. Time just got away from us didn't it.

I have seen several family's pack up and head out for the last summer fling before school starts. Some schools are back around here, but we don't go back until next Tuesday. I went back to CAP for the first time in several weeks. Glad to be back doing that again.

We picked up about another 2" of rain last night, got home safe and sound before the storms hit. Looks like the Gulf coast is getting some bad weather this weekend Hey everyone needs rain rain. To bad the Left Coast is suffering, by hey blame the Liberals.

Stay Safe My Friends............Rob

Oh dear! That looks painful. Hope she heals nicely with no further complications.

Those kids grow fast, don't they. Before you know it, Sammy will be asking for the key to your car. :)

Yes I know. I still have 3 that don't drive yet. Oldest daughter, youngest son and daughter. They have to pay for there own cars. Its better to give dad gas, and a cold pop, then to worry about a car.

X-ray tech here that went on an does MRI now. Make sure she is covered with lead during X-ray. Sometimes fractures won't show until a week later but an MRI might be the better call to check tendon and ligament damage.

The folks at the hospital here are real good folks, part of a larger hospital-clinic network. They handled all our emergency and regular medical needs. Same hospital my grandson was born at. Their main hospital in Minneapolis has a Heart Institute, and a attached Children's Hospital. I have family who had heart surgery their too.

YEEOUCH!!! That hurts just looking at it. Prayers for it just being badly bruised.

Hard to believe it is September and how fast time is flying. Doesn't seem all that long ago that Sammy was born. Stay safe with all the activities.

I saw the whole thing yesterday with all the bandages, and splint off. What a rainbow of colors. Sammy will be 3 end of Nov.

Seems like there's always some kind of thing like that going on in families. To this day, when the kids call and I see their number on the caller id, I feel a chill of worry. What new disaster has transpired, I think. Usually it's nothing, but you just never know.

I hear you our oldest has called from Florida, and starts out...Don't know if you saw the news down here, but...A murder suicide in his apartment complex, followed a few weeks later, a shooting at the restaurant he work's at after he left for the day. That called started out as I'm ok, but we had......So many gray hairs on what's left on my baldly head
