Back To Normal...

I'm going to return to the normal topics. I enjoy the low profile, attention from just a few friends in blogging. Not the attention I have gotten from Anno. Liberal bullies, here in the US, but from other countries. I'm happy with the way things are going, with the except for the foot dragging on appointments.

Being its the end of January, its time to think about warmer weather, and spending more time outdoors in a about 90 days give or take 6 months. LOL. I guess I have gone wimpy in my older more experienced life. If I drink something cold, I feel cold for a couple of hours. So hot coffee, and room temperature drinks until temps stay above 60..LOL.

I guess alot of folks here in town are sick with winter crud. Half of the winter sports teams are out sick. I think the only team not effected is the hockey teams. My youngest daughter is still battling a cough she has had since Christmas. I'm sure she just keeps getting a same cold from friends at school. I have seen these high school kids come out to the parking lots with no coats on or just sweat shirts. The thing that concerns me is two things, I used to do that but I also lived in California at that age..LOL and these kids are the future of America...LOL

I started writing this before my FIL took a turn. Still waiting, its hard to do. you plan for things but at the same time staying close to home. My SIL has my cell number, its with me 24/7 and left on. Friday my phone was chirping with braking news texts from Fox News, and emails from CAP. I thought my wife was going to jump out of her skin, so I had it on vibrate most of the time. My oldest son in Florida has his bag packed, just waiting for the call, still working but on alert, and has told his employer, hey If I need to I have to go to MN for a few days. They are ok with it.

Our weather here has been good I think no snow for over a week, temps hovering mid twenty's.  We have the tax's just about wrapped up. Looking at some long term plans, adding to stores, water, doing some painting inside. Even thinking about carry permit, and possible weapons purchase.  This one has moved up the list the last several years. I know weapons should be on top. I think I will work on a post this week regarding long term planning next 11 months or longer.

Well I wrapping up this post. Have a great week all.....We are keeping Vigilant....Stay Safe...

Thank You Padre, My SIL has daily contact with medical staff at the assisted living complex. We all know he has been suffering the last few years, and with his wife of 60 some years passing on, he is ready to go home and reunited with her, his brother, and his parents.

I can understand how your FIL feels. My Dad passed at age 93 and he was beyond ready by that time. My prayers are for your family, no matter what the outcome.

I, too, am enjoying the common everyday life. Politics and all the insanity connected with it has sort of worn me down. I continue to prep but am spending time on things that make me happy - sewing, quilting, etc. If I don't, my head is in danger of exploding. :)

Spring can't come quick enough to suit me.

Thanks Vicki, Am at the point I don't even watch any local news, and just Fox News for a short bit in the AM. You can only take so much of the lies.
