Its Offical...
In my sons own words..............I am more than excited to announce that I have been offered and accepted the position of Reserve Police Officer for the Howard Lake (MN) Police Dept. This is a HUGE step for me and I can not wait for what the future will bring. Thank you to all my friends and family for the support!!
My oldest. He also admitted that since he moved back to MN, his life has turned around for the better. He was trying to become a fire fighter, EMS, and Police Officer/Tropper. He never could get any place. Until he came back home. He hooked up with an old high school friend who was a Wright Country (MN) deputy, and she moved over to HLPD. She told Jordon they needed a Reserve Officer. He applied and was offered the position yesterday. The Chief told my son "You have a awfully clean record". "Thank you Sir"
He was given his badge today, and has started his training. I have not talked to my son yet today. I am a proud parent, as he accomplished something he wanted to do.
Stay Safe My Friends.
Rob

No Mike, its P.T. non paying. But its a step to what he wants and that's full time P.O. He gets training for free.
Congratulations to both of you. That is wonderful news!!
Yes we are proud of him.
I talked with my son tonight. If he works the county fair, state fair he gets paid. The city will pay him to work city events. Patrol is not paid
