I must be having a good day. It is perfectly still. 40 degrees in January? in Minnesota? It must be gonna rain!
Our last storm was snow turned to rain, back to snow, which made it a heavy wet snow...The temps dropped it all froze. Today they are saying rain. Rain or snow doesn't matter as long as we get moisture for the farm fields
Weather here in Florida has been at record high's some days near 80, that's 20 degrees above normal. My Azaleas have flowers on some of the plants, that's 3 months early. However, I'm not complaining it's good beach weather! :-)
It's -5°, give or take, today. AccuHunch opines that it could be in the mid-20s by week's end, with more snow on the way. We had a couple of days in the low 40s 7 or 10 days ago, and it melted some of the snow. But we're done with that for now.
During the summer they can pinpoint storms, it seems, down to which end of town it will hit. Winter its like a game of darts down at the local watering hole with everyone overly watered...not even in the same room.
The memories of living in Fla. Good and bad. I miss Disney World the most. worked there.

heh.... if I look directly at it, no motion. Indirectly, moves all over the place. Guess I'm only partially stressed? Whatever... ;^)
Had 5" of snow in 24 hours. Then some rain on top to freeze it really good with the 12F temp overnight. More snow on the way. Kinda killed off the 'garden itch' hahaha
If you dart your eyes side to side it moves. Plus my stress level is raising
We are under a deep freeze. wind chills near zero. not to fear we have been told a mild winter....Right and we had a blizzard last April two weeks later it was 70 and all gone
