Garden 2019

Like most of the farmers in America this year, planting is late. We scaled way back on what we wanted to do. Had planed on a larger garden, but by the 1st April we knew things would change. We finally got some seeds planted after the 1 of June. We planted some sunflowers, two different kinds of flowers, and some tomatoes.
Sunflowers

Flowers. Don't remember the name

Sunflowers

Tomatoes I think

Sam is our gardener again this summer
I will update this again next week. Some farmers are still out in the fields. I think its too late for more corn. Maybe planting soy beans, or just feed grass.

Stay Safe....Rob

Yes, there might still be time for soybeans, but then a massive crop would drive the prices down. The poor farmer can't win.

Looking good! Glad the little one will be able to watch them grow until harvest.

Enjoy

Good start. Maybe next year you can start he seeds indoors for a month and have a jump start on growing.

Prices are down, China buys a lot of soy beans

Garry, Thanks for stopping by. My grandson loves to watch them grow. He helped plant and water them

That was the plan this year but the seeds didn't get put out in the stores until late April early may. I'm thinking to buy some now and start end of Feb??
