Hey, it's around 79 here in the the Cities too. Heard someone today say, "it's too hot." I said, it won't be in 5-6months." Gotta enjoy it while we can, I guess :)
We've been in the mid-80s for over a week, and that is supposed to continue for the foreseeable future. Since almost no one in Alaska has A/C, it's pretty miserable for us thick-blooded northern folk. Lots of fans running, and lots of iced tea.
How fast we forget the bite of winter. After we lived in Fla. for 6 years we don't complain too much about MN weather. When folks say its HOT, we say, not even

The weird weather of 2019 continues. How is the warmth effecting the snow pack??
Where I grew up back east, we all had screened in sleeping porches. It helped, but not much.
