Winter Arrives When???

When the temp is this outside....

But you wish it was this again
Its days like today we remember the days of January and the bitter cold.

I've said it once and I'll say it again, Its better to live in a place that you need to wear every piece of clothing to stay warm, then to live in a placed where you are down to a pair of skives to stay cool, and your still too hot.

Stay Safe all.

I like bikini's year round, so I'll pass on your weather if I must dress like I'm getting a promotion to the Death Star! :-)

When it is hot you can always jump in cool water. Layers and layers of clothes feels like strangulation. Give me summer; of course here there is no humidity to speak of, so 90 feels good.

After 6 years in Florida I don't do hot and humid anymore. When folks say oh my this is hot. I look at them and say..This is nothing. I have always enjoyed fall cool temps.
We just had over the 4th of July weekend about 200 folks get sick from being in a very large lake. They think too many used the lake as a toilet, or someone or two had a nasty virus. Of course they are where in a small area. Public Health says they may never know what caused it

It hit 105* yesterday in my corner... of the desert... Humidity was 13%, so it didn't feel that bad...

It was 49° this morning, and even though AccuHunch predicts a high around 70 today, it's not hot. "Comfortable" is a concept we're far more ... well, comfortable with.

That's fine unless you are allergic to cold, look it up it's real.

B thanks for stopping by. Never heard of that. But not surprised at all.

I would not go anywhere where there were 200 people all in one place. Would jump into an irrigation ditch first.

Yes. I must be one of the allergic ones. Hate the cold and being hypothyroid does not help, even when properly medicated.

Rob said...

Sorry to hear. Never good when you have to take meds. I shold know. I'm any several
