We should have had these temps last month during the state fair. Heat index of 96. Right. If we get this temps into Nov. & Dec then I will believe in climate change.
The leaves are turning from green to yellow, with a few reds of the maples. Hard to think of fall with temps this warm. Walked out to the car this am. I thought I was back in Florida.
Well, we all know whats around the corner. Still can't say it. OK I will hunting season...LOL. Enjoy those colors if your trees are changing.
Stay Safe...Rob

I remember that the fall of '82 stayed warm here right through December. Christmas day, I walked to the back of the farm wearing a T-shirt and no jacket and was perfectly comfortable.
42 last night, 50 and windy today....noooooooooo!! Do not say the W word.
Sixty to seventy percent of our leaves are down now, and we're to have highs in the low 40s with lows in the low 30s. More to the point, there's snow on the mountain peaks not far from us. Winter's looking early this year.
Our heat index earlier was 97. That's nuts, A few years ago the golf courses reopen during thanksgiving break.
Never. even when its piled up to our roof. Too much rain LOl
Just waiting for the other shoe to drop. I don't even want to see how bad the harvest will be. Will they get it in before it gets deep?? I can just picture God and Mother Nature playing a game of poker...
Just wait a bit, it's coming your direction. ;^) Looked like it was snowing on the mountains but not sticking. Not ready for the white stuff just yet. Bah!
We all know its coming. weather we like it or not. For my family lets get it over with oldest son, is in Canada for 6 mos, Youngest son going into the Army National Guard. Both will be back end of April.
Here in the Texas Hill Country, we full expect temps to stay in the 90s in September, and drop away into the eighties in October..after that, it's a crap shoot.
I think the weather this year has been a crap shoot
