| Early Storm totals..higher now |
This is the main reason folks like my family here in MN. have a large pantry. We have enough bread in the deep freeze, canned goods, coffee, tea etc. for several days. Oh I forgot we also have meat in the deep freeze too.
Can't drive anyplace as our van is still broke. Needs a new battery and alternator. Parts alone are around $500.00 plus labor and tow.
Stay Safe everyone. Blizzard conditions on Saturday here along with the snow. 35 mph winds. See you after we dig out.

Stay warm and safe, my friend. Aren't we glad that we are not among those who will be lined up in the grocery stores, stocking up for the storm! A deep pantry is a good thing, especially here in blizzard country!
All you can do now is hibernate for a week, wait for a check to come in and then fix the car.
We plan on stocking up on more canned goods, dry goods etc next month with tax refund money. We plan or I should say I have planned on buying by the case vs a can here and there. A couple large bags for flour, sugar, corn meal powdered milk, etc
Well the van will get fixed next month with tax refund money. Plan on stocking up on dry stores too.
