Active Weather Alerts....

Issued: 10:50 PM Feb. 11, 2020 – National Weather Service

...SHARP TEMPERATURE DROP WEDNESDAY MAY CAUSE FLASH FREEZE
CONDITIONS ALONG WITH BLOWING SNOW...

An arctic front will surge southward across central and southern
Minnesota along with west central Wisconsin on Wednesday. This
front will be accompanied by light snow with accumulations of
around an inch. Once the front moves through the area, a rapid
drop in temperatures will follow within an hour or two. These
rapidly falling temperatures may lead to a flash freeze on area
roadways. This is a condition where a small amount of snow that
melts prior to the frontal passage, or even vehicle exhaust or any
liquid moisture on roads and walkways, will quickly freeze and
cause black ice to form. Please be aware of this condition and
drive accordingly. In addition, strong northwest winds will
develop behind this front leading to significant blowing and
drifting snow, especially in areas that received heavy snowfall on
Sunday.

This is why my family preps. We have enough food to last for several days, up to two weeks. if needed  Monday we went to our Market, and picked up more supplies. The cashier says, did you go through all that food you bought last week?? For an older lady I thought that was a stupid remark. I told her oh know we always stock up, and theses are some of the items on sale this week.

The only thing we could run out of is fresh bread, but we can bake some if needed.  I keep an eye on the weather, always have. #1 is because my job was working inside and outside,(Airport) plus for prepping. Now that we don't have a running car, we have to walk. Temps should return into the 30's by saturday.

Stay safe and alert my friends......Rob

As reported by Stanford Medical, It's in fact the one and ONLY reason women in this country live 10 years longer and weigh 42 pounds lighter than we do.

(And really, it has NOTHING to do with genetics or some secret-exercise and EVERYTHING to do with "HOW" they are eating.)

P.S, I said "HOW", and not "WHAT"...
