How ugly was April here in MN??? Just take a look.
Two weeks ago. Now all gone and its 63 with no snow, the grass is turning green. Even the trees are starting to get leaves.
Getting more motivated for a garden again this year. Still undecided what we are planting. Tomatoes is a given. If I find time this week I will try to get around to other bloggers posts.
Stay Safe........

I had the bah-humbugs this winter. Guess it was from all the snow last season ;^) Last night we had rain, the mountain got snow. Had to clean out the fireplace and get a fire going to take the 'edge' off. But it was given that it would get cold one more time since we have all the plastic off the windows and uncovered the panels from the cellar to let the air move more freely. AND trees are starting to bloom. Bah!
Glad to see you posting! Hope you & the family have been well!!!

We are well Hobo thanks for asking. We had very little snow all winter. Mother Nature seem to say oh yes sorry I took my eye off you. Have some snow. Fishing opener is coming up fast, many folks think the lakes will either be still ice covered or way too cold to fish.
I hope you’re done with winter and plant your garden soon.
Myself being from Chicago I’ve had my share of surprise weather and never did like it.
March 15th is my in-the-ground garden planting (seedlings) date. This year it’s Green and Yellow Bell Peppers, Tomatoes, Celery, and Green Beans. They’re growing great, already ate some Green Peppers, and will pick some Green Beans for dinner today.
A surprise was one of the Yellow Pepper plants was apparently mislabeled and it’s produces JalapeƱo Peppers. Not something I normally would grow because I don’t eat them.
We hit 80 yesterday. and the lakes are opening. The Farm Co-op is getting ready to hit the fields to do what they do. Saw a guy yesterday with a pallet load of seeds heading back to his farm.
I have seen some plants for sale, bushes, trees, but no tomatoes or anything like that yet.
