Hawaiian Time

Ok you ask what is "Hawaiian Time". Its a phrase used by a comedian I like. He did a special filmed in Hawaii. In a joke he is talking about going to a Luau. Someone asks when do we get there, (lulu)..His reply "Hawaiian Time...We get there when we get there."

Why do I bring this up?? you ask?? Well I ordered some winterizing stuff from the gas company.  When is it going to be at my house?? Well its was shipped out from Appleton WI on Aug the 5th. It is now Aug 16th. So its arriving on Hawaiian Time..Its get here when it get here. For some unknown reason it went from Appleton WI, to Chicago . Now its some place in Chicago. I was sent a tracking number. Which only tells me its arriving late.

Now about a week later I ordered recruiting material from National Headquarters. I can track this too. The finger print cards go via the USPS. No tracking on them. I get email from National can we have your house address to send the other items FEDEX its cheaper. Ok no issue. FedEx says it will be here last Thursday. Cool. Then they too send me a notice saying well, now its due this Monday. The package is coming from Montgomery Al. I follow the tracking its gets sent to Atlanta, then to Chicago, then to St Paul, MN, now its in St Cloud MN. I guess the FedEx trucks for our area come from St Cloud. Who da thunk that. 

I told my wife we could have driven to Appleton WI, bypassed Chicago, gone to Monty, right to the AFB picked those package up and driven back home in 5 days. And stop to see an old friend in Louisville on top of that.

Keep in mind you can order stuff via Amazon and have it in your hands in 3 to 5 days. Now you see why Trump doesn't want to do mail in voting??? Hell George Washington would still be waiting for his election results.

Weather is cooler during the day. Real chilly at night upper 50 to low 60's Damn great sleeping weather
