Wind Chill Advisory

Statement as of 9:30 PM CST on February 17, 2015
... Wind Chill Advisory remains in effect until noon CST
Wednesday...

* wind chill values... 30 below to 35 below zero.
* Timing... the coldest wind chill values will occur between 3 am
  until 9 am Wednesday morning.

Precautionary/preparedness actions...
A Wind Chill Advisory means that very cold air and strong winds
will combine to generate low wind chills. This will result in
frostbite and lead to hypothermia if precautions are not taken.
If you must venture outdoors... make sure to dress in layers and
wear a hat and gloves.

No snow here but bitter cold wind chills. I put some extra
coverings on the living room windows. The bedrooms are small
enough that they stay warm. If I had extra sheets I would close
off the kitchen from the living room.

Keep warm everyone.

Those are some pretty vicious windchill numbers, for your neck of the woods. Stay warm!

Padre, We Minnesotans by now are so numb from the cold, that not one school in the area was late or cancelled. That's why when it hits 40 degrees, its tropical weather and we start to wear shorts.
