The cadet shown here, (became an Air Force Officer, Missile Officer. IIRC, he is now retired from active duty) He is getting a promotion from the then Group Commander. The gentleman hidden in the back is my Squadron Commander. He has worked his way up to Wing Commander of MN Wing, and is now working at Regional Headquarters.
That's me holding the folder. I did a double take when I saw this photo. So did many others. I had to confirm that yes it was me. Highest rank I held was 1LT when I stepped down in 1987. I currently have achieved 1LT and have my goal set on Captain. Any higher too much politics.
