Staying indoors and warm.....Drove it earlier school closed here at 11:30. 5 miles west of us its bad. drove 15 miles west and its blowing and drifting. Oh our first snow of the year.

You could move where I am; we've had 5.01" of rain... no snow... since JANUARY! We're having to water the CACTUS here!
My Parents in law lived in AZ for over 25 years. No grass just rock lawn...Pass.. LOL Enjoy your warm weather. Lived in Fla for 6 years, came back home.
We had just a few flakes in the air - not enough to even stick. But the wind was wicked.
Cold and windy here, but no precipitation.
It stuck here, but the city didn't plow, wright county, and MNDOT did. I was out in rural meeker county to pick up Hannah at a classmates home around 4, it was ugly. One of the county roads had only been plowed on one side, and the township roads you could barely find. a couple of times I thought we where stuck on small inclines, the snow was that wet.
That wind won't help the fires at all, makes it worse. i was sitting in my van yesterday and I thought someone was rocking it. Wind gusting 45 mph or so,,
Just plain cold here. 19F Friday morning and I think it only got to 35F. This morning much warmer, 35F and now its 38F. Snowing on the mountains with threats of snow for Thursday with rain in between. You're getting the wind we had a couple days ago. Sure made wood cutting a little on the chilly side, but kept the damn wasps slow moving :-) Stay warm & safe!
thanks Hobo, I have been waiting for the "other shoe" to drop. We have heard a snowy winter November had been warm up until yesterday. Now they are saying 8" to 12" on Tuesday. White Thanksgiving for sure this year.
Snow! We're supposed to dip down below freezing for the first time, but it's been so warm it's hard to remember snow.
I just checked the temp here as of 900 pm it was 19 degrees. The ponds will freeze and the lakes will start, but we always get a few idiots who walk out on the ice and fall through or drive through and drown. I saw 4 guys out snowmobiling and we don't have a lot. North about 2 hrs they got 13"
Never understand why people can write pages and pages about weather. Lack of inspiration probably.
