I always try and keep my attitude towards others neutral. Why?? Because Karma can bite you as far as pay back. Well I must have done something or said something wrong. I know some think its foolish.
My van broke down yesterday. After waiting half a day I find out its the alternator, and not the battery. its going to cost us $550 some dollars give or take to fix. Money we don't have. I am thinking of bring the van home, park in the drive way, and wait until we have the money in a few months.
We can walk to the store for food stuffs, we do have some stocked piled for the winter. Any Dr's appointments I may need I can get rides through insurance I believe. Youngest son will have to walk to the store for work. Luckily youngest daughter is almost done with swim manager. She can get ride to and from school from friends so she won't have to take the bus.
I helped my oldest pay his phone, as he is still looking for a job, but that small amount wouldn't make any difference towards the car. I will take a LOA from CAP maybe until March or April. We did some shopping yesterday before the brake down, we stopped at Goodwill and I scored a roaster pan. for $10.00 we now have two. A women in Goodwill saw what I had and replied to me.."nice" made me feel good. LOL.
Anyway stress level is up, but I am learning to try and relax. I have just accepted what has happened and deal with it. I will continue to pray for a good outcome. Lucky for us the weather is staying warm so Tuesday, walk up to vote, wonder over to the store, and hit the P.O. on the way home. We have a couple of back packs so it should be all right.
Well I'm closing this post. and trying to ketchup with other blogs, I relish the thought of Hillary wining, mayo Trump will win....LOL
Stay Safe............
P.S. A few extra prayers wouldn't hurt, thank you for that.
UPDATE...The van will be fixed, the repair shop will take payments. Not too many will do that anymore.

I'm not a religious man but I will say a little prayer for you. $550 for an alternator, huh! Prices for auto repairs have sure gotten crazy. You can't find someone to install a nice rebuilt for cheap? If I lived closer I'd give you a hand with it.
Bout half afraid to see what the world will have served up for us next Wednesday morning.
Take care.

Thanks Moe. Its one of those FWD stand on your head repairs. The last time I fixed one of our cars, (wheel bearing)it lasted about 60 days. I screwed up our brakes too. Not having the right tools hurts too.
I've learned that everything happens for a reason; just be open to possibilities. But we'll pray that your transportation is restored quickly (be it the van, or something else).
Thanks Padre, By accepting what happens I can control my stress and depression better. The van will be fixed, as I was able to make payment arrangements with the garage. Some won't do that anymore.
