I look like manure, I feel like manure, thank god I took a shower or I'd smell like manure. Being sick bites. I know I said I don't get sick, well that was a lie, I got sick, now do I have to become a liberal, or am I still on the good side??
I guess I should get some more sleep, Major grocery shopping tomorrow. I will check in tomorrow after we get home, and everything gets put away.
Stay Warm, and Safe.............Rob

I got sick once earlier this fall - usually when that happens I get sick several times over the winter. I started taking a daily dose of generic immune system booster and drinking some immune system tea on a daily basis or near daily basis and I have been ok since. Of course school starts Monday and then I will be exposed to everything in the state between my students, their families (from all over the state) my co-workers - who have young kids in school, our son - who attends school on my campus, and everyone else.
We are buried - at least for us height challenged - to our chins so far this winter (55" of snow with more on the way) and in a deep chill now (we got up to -0.2 F today) with wonderful wind chills. The horses are furry and eating lots, the (house) Labrador doesn't stay out very long, the barn cats stay IN the barn and the hens in the hen house (they'd disappear in all that snow anyway)! Take some good cold meds Rob, so you can SLEEP (helps me the most) and hopefully if you have snow to move or livestock to care for someone else can go out and take care of it all for you. (Any may your stock waterers not freeze up or the tractor not stop working - two signs of an expensive BAD day here)! Redder
Redder, I know what you mean. My wife WAS a school teachers (2nd grade) and all winter long had a cold. Had to go to work everyday feeling like trash. She finally had enough of mostly THE PARENTS and gave it up then private tutored instead. It took about 3 years to get her immune system built back up where she rarely gets colds anymore.
Rob, you need a vacation on a cruise ship down in the Caribbean. They don't know what zero f is or what a snow shovel is! :-)
Take care!
Must be something going around. Most of the people I know feel like crud. Hope you get better soon.
Redder, and Mike, i feel better this am, then last night. I was in bed by 8pm and slept until midnight, I stayed bundled up, two pair of sweat pants and two blankets. I woke up took off a sweat pants drank so water change t shirts as it was wet from sweating. Went back to bed. I'm still pumping 1500 mg vitamin C and one multi vitamin. I never get a flu shot either. oh and I wash my hands alot...
Pass, I would rather be sick with a cold, then go on a cruise ship with idiots that are sicker then me, with the flu.
Crud is part of living in Mn. Found out the stomach flu was going around at the middle school before Christmas. Too many parents send their kids to school sick, because they can't miss work. Wash hands several times a day and use a santi wipe on those shopping carets.. Since you don't go out, you got sick from your son, his GF, or the driver driver for your grocery.
Rob - it sounds like you are feeling better and i am glad to hear it buddy! keep taking your vitamins and washing your hands - it definitely helps but sometimes those nasty bugs can get you no matter what you do!
sending much love, as always! your friend,
kymber
