Its Going To Be...

Another long winter here in Minnesota.

What was our greens fields of Corn, Wheat, and Soy, are now all brown and ready to harvest. The farmers are out cultivating the soy beans. I forgot the mass amount of lighting they have on the harvesters, and tractors. Its looks like an army of machines out in the fields.

Of course with the change of temps, from heat index of 90's, to the cold  coming from the north, folks are getting sick earlier. Two of my kids are sick. Picked it up from the others at work. As for myself, VITAMINS is the order of the day. Multi once a day plus 1,000 mg of Vitamin C.

When we go shopping we wipe down the handle of the shopping cart, and lots of hand washing. With that its also time to use hand cream, so our skin doesn't split open. I guess its safe to say our summer is over and winter is breathing down our necks like a pack of crying liberals.

Remember every one to take care of yourselves and your family's health. If the flu don't get you, the liberals will. Keep up the fight.

I love the cold...for a few hours at most. The super dry air drys skin to parchment, the bone breaking chill becomes a constant nagging ache, and the worry of something freezing that can't be fixed until it thaws is a worrisome event to contemplate. That, and the thought of having to shovel snow for hours, only to wake the next day to do it again.

Carry a bottle of hand sanitizer in your vehicle. One of the dirtiest handles you can grab is the pump nozzle at the gas station! A person sick with the flu may not stop at Wally World, but has no choice but to get gas if the tank is dry. In our area, with all the illegals swarming the place, only God knows what kinds of bugs lurk on those handles!

Bah! Humbug! That's my thoughts on the matter!

I don't mind the cooler weather, nor the snow, just the bitter cold and winds of January into February.

Oh you know it. We have them in both cars. My youngest has said she wants a sleeping bag and some food in her car this winter. My youngest kids work at the same place and have been told my management they will be the first ones cut early in bad weather as we live the longest distance from their job.

Winter is what winter is cold, and colorless.
