...PROLONGED PERIODS OF HEAVY RAINFALL MAY LEAD TO FLOODING EARLY NEXT WEEK... A stalled frontal boundary extending from the Plains to northern Great Lakes will focus a corridor of nearly continuous rainfall, occasionally heavy, across the Upper Midwest from Sunday night through early Wednesday. Widespread rainfall amounts will range from 2 to 3 inches through Wednesday, but a corridor of 4 to 6 inches could set up somewhere across southern and eastern Minnesota into western and northern Wisconsin. This rain will cause rises on rivers and streams and will likely lead to flooding in some areas, especially in the corridor of heaviest rainfall. In addition, lowland flooding may also occur as the ground quickly becomes saturated. Keep updated on the latest forecast for any future watches and warnings.
If this was snow we would more then likey be looking at feet of
snow vs inches of rain. Rain is always welcome, but it will make
it hard for the farmers to get the harvest finished with the corn,
and soy beans.

We're having heat here in the Mid-Ohio-Valley. It, too, beats snow.
thanks to God, maybe if we keep praying He will put His Hand back over this country and heal, cleanse and protect the nation and all of us.
Down here near the coast in Texas, we're receiving daily showers. Usually, this time of the year brings clear, cool days, with dry conditions. Instead, these daily rains only add more humidity to the afternoons that are around ninety.
