...WINTER STORM WATCH IN EFFECT FROM SUNDAY AFTERNOON THROUGH
MONDAY AFTERNOON...

* WHAT...Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 5 to 9
inches possible. Blowing snow is also possible with wind gusts
as high as 35 mph.

* WHERE...Portions of central, east central, south central and
southeast Minnesota.

* WHEN...From Sunday afternoon through Monday afternoon.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Travel could be very difficult. Patchy
blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The
hazardous conditions could impact the morning commute. The
cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite
on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

A Winter Storm Watch means there is potential for significant
snow, sleet or ice accumulations that may impact travel. Continue
to monitor the latest forecasts.

After this storm passes, the bottom falls out on overnight temps, 

wind chills in the negative 30 below. They are talking about temps

last seen 25 years ago. If we are getting temps this cold, 

how can it be global warming??
