How bad are things going to get?? My CAP Squadron has cancelled our meeting on Monday night. With the wind chills forecast to be down to NEGATIVE 50 BELOW. Schools will be closed Tuesday and Wednesday.
Extra water jugs are getting filled up, incase we lose our drinking water. Blankets are out, added clothes are out, Plus we are putting up extra blankets to seal off paerts of the house. that we don't use. The front door area is done already, Plan on putting blanket at the end of the hallway between the bedrooms and living room, and between the living room and kitchen This will keep the heat in the bedroom area, and keep the area between kitchen and living room smaller.
Needless to say we are consurned about the cold. But we have had this weather before, but these super cold wind chills have not seen seen in at lest 15 years,

Right. Just remember the Liberal wiz kid (AOC) says we all will be dead in 12 years.
Hope you don't lose power during the super cold upon you. Did you ever get the oil lantern tested and ready to go?
