Our schools ran late again this am. Freezing rain/drizzle yesterday.
My CAP meeting was can celled again for the 3 straight week.
Safety is REALLY a big part of the USAF, and CAP. better to cancel
then to have members endanger themselves. We don't want our young
members who drive get hurt
If yiu remember last post I spoke about a broken water line near us.
Well they had to tear down the aboned home, so they could get to
the broken pipes. That was Saturday. Right after they finished a
front end loader came in to break up all the ice on the road. We
are talking chunks of ice 4 to 6 inches thick.
Another cool day here today a high of 9. Still warmer the last week
when our temps droped to -35. wind chills in the -50 to -60.
A sign of spring today the MN Twins baseball team sent their
equipment truck down to Ft Myers Fla for the start of spring training
Keep warm, winters almost done...I HOPE...LOL
