Marijuana Grow Operation Raided in Cokato
(KWLM/Cokato MN-) Two people are under arrest after an indoor marijuana growing operation was raided in Cokato.
On Wednesday, (May 29th) agents of the CEE-6 Drug and Gang Task Force and The
Wright County Sheriff’s Department executed a search warrant at a house
in Cokato and discovered 400 growing pot plants as well as several
pounds of harvested cannabis, packaged for sale. Two people in the home
were arrested.
Officials say this is the second large indoor marijuana growing operation busted in the area.
In May of last year, an operation was raided in Dassel where 1400 plants were growing.
I for one am not surprised by this, after living in the cities on and off all my life. What I am surprised at is the fact I'm sure many folks are running around like chicken little, the sky is falling. This can't happen in my town. To that I say, go answer the door its reality at the door.
Temps finally are near 90 here. But today only. The sale ends at midnight. Cooler temps are in store again...

Personally, growing and smoking one's own pot is a victimless crime. However, 400 plants is clearly "with intent to distribute"; an entirely more serious charge than just possession..or growing.
Their electric bill was likely extremely high all of a sudden..enough to raise a flag and alert authorities.
The dopers were over confident and greedy. That'll get 'em every time.

We know its around. Infact we had a house fire arond Christmaas because the meth heads got careess starting buring their trash in the fire place which was realy small. It was just lst month when the house was finally torn down There was a gal in another home we called Meth Momma. One day at the market she was dumpster diving in a donation box. All we saw was her legs sticking out. A group of teens started to play games with her. While she was in one bin, they took everything she dug out and put it in the second bin. It was so funny to watch. They even hide her bike on her mind too.
