What will the week bring??? Last week our car was stolen. That I don't want to top that on the stress meter. I asked my son this am, Your keys are located?? In my pocket. good answer. Our grass needs to be cut, but I play a game called you mow first. Let the other guy cut his lawn first Ha
I have some projects needing to get done, I just keep putting them off. When I feel that I should work on them, I climb up into my Recliner, pop the seat back, feet up. Take a nap. LOL I dug a pair of shorts out of winter hiding yesterday. Warmer temps they say. Fake out.
Mothers Day dinner was slow cooked ribs, fell off the bone tender. Fat baked potatoes, Corn on the cob. The ladies didn't cook. Just the oldest son & me. Ok Sammy helped with the corn. The Samster, or monkey boy as I call him is fast approaching the end of his school year. Sept. its on to kindergarten They are starting all day every day in Sept. My youngest had that back so many years ago. like 15?? Sam loves school. You know that little kid can come up with the darnedest things to say.
He went to get his hair cut, doesn't like clippers yet. We told him the barber will use scissors. "Oh thank god". Try and keep a straight face. He loves giving quick hugs at bed time. He don't touch you, instead he says "mun ya". a combo of hug, and kiss at the same time. When he gets up in the am. He climbs in my lap to watch his "programs" spend time with me. The other day he says Sammy papa day. Great love it. Later in the afternoon, I said what happened to Sammy papa day..."Oh its over""
REJECTED BY A 5 1/2 yr old....
Stay safe everyone. Rob

As you already know, it pays to enjoy them while they're little, they don't stay that way long.
hahaha.... how fickle youth is.... haha
Boy is growing fast. Enjoy every minute. And get off that recliner and teach the lad some stuff. He will treasure doing things with papa. I wish I would have had more days with my grandparents when I was young.
Dinner sounded good! Gotta love the slow cooker :-)

Watching sam grow is like watching my 5 adult kids grow up all over again
No slow cooker used. Just cooked at a low temp in the oven for 4 or 5 hours. Oh I do teach him so many things as do all my kids. The Fab 5 like of Sam as their brother not nephew. He calls the oldest Uncle Jo Jo, Jordon answers Nephew Sammy. Sam makes sure to give all of them hugs when he sees them. Even Skye Jordon dog gets hugs daily. Our 3 tom cats are finally warming up to Sam too.
Sounds like you have a great start of the week!
Yes and finally warmer weather...Maybe...Still have a wait and see attitude going..
