This Is How Wet Its Been

This first photo is behind our house. Hasn't been cut since Sept of last year. The next photo is from the back looking towards the front. I had the front half cut before my tooth infection and more rain. Normally I can cut all the yard and trim in a couple of hours. When its this thick, I do it in sections. About 75% of the yard is done as of last Saturday.

With our temps getting a little warmer Sunday, is the day I start all over again. Looks like I haven't touched the yard at all. Winter sucks with all the snow, summer sucks with all the mowing..LOL
I have the mower set to the highest setting to cut, so the gras doesn't burn out. Some cut so short you could golf in their yards..

Have a good weekend all.....Rob

I cut as high as it goes. The missus would rather have it low, even if the grass dies.

Better to have green grass then brown dirt.

It has been raining for weeks and the grass keeps growing. Pretty soon we can bale it for hay.
Luckily the wild bunnies are trying to keep it down.

I think I just may keep a section in back uncut this year just to see what happens.

Maybe a wildflower seed mixture in the uncut section?
