Civil Air Patrol began daily flight operations with Air National Guard 174th Attack Wing MQ-9 Reaper remotely piloted aircraft in western New York Monday, part of an agreement between CAP and the Air National Guard that allows for MQ-9 training from Hancock Field Air National Guard Base and Syracuse Hancock International Airport.

We had been briefed on this a couple of months ago. I think its interesting. I could see myself even become part of an Air Crew. This is one reason why CAP has become closer to big brother blue.

All we ever did was buzz around looking for crash sites. That looks more interesting.
My understanding that CAP will escort them into and out off a cretin area. Maybe they are worried about some idiot shooting them down. The upside CAP will have pick up faster planes, like 206 or like it. 182 can only fly so fast.
